Overview

There are many similarities between physical health and financial health. Many Americans are overweight and most have large debt from student loans and recovering from the recession. If not addressed, both have long term consequences that have a large impact on the respective systems – obesity leads to diabetes, heart conditions and many other health problems; debt leads to lack of retirement savings, a lack of capital in the economy and other issues such as the inability to afford healthcare later in life.

Fidelity is a leader in the financial industry thinking about how to use design thinking, innovation and digital tools to better engage, support, and enable their customers to improve their financial health and to stay financially healthy. Come to our innovation hour to learn from Suzanne Hamill and her team, Fidelity’s top design thinkers and innovators, about the how Fidelity is working to address the financial health issues and have a discussion of how we can learn from the financial industry how to improve healthcare.
