Chen CaoInnovation Analyst
Chen Cao is passionate about the impact digital health and innovation can have on the health outcomes of individuals and society. He holds a Master of Public Health and Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Boston University. While at BU, Chen focused on research, design, and implementation of mobile health (mHealth) projects in low-resource settings such as Tanzania and Kenya. He also interned at the World Health Organization, reviewing early warning and response networks (EWARN) of member states. Chen completed his Master’s capstone project by building and supporting an Android-based application for a health and education nonprofit based in Palestine. Other organizations that he has worked with include Seed Global Health and sustainability@BU. He is excited to be returning to Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where he previously volunteered as part of the Medical Career Exploration Program.
